Our Design Process

  1. Upon placement of an order, the submission of your revised manuscript and accompanying imagery is facilitated through our accessible Send Files Tool. Additionally, physical copies of photographs can be forwarded via traditional mail. For guidance on the requisite content, our Book Material Checklist serves as a comprehensive resource.
  1. Upon receipt of all submitted materials, our team of designers undertakes a comprehensive assessment of your manuscript. This evaluation aims to grasp the essence of the subject matter, discern the genre, and consider any specific preferences delineated by you. Subsequently, following an initial consultation with you, our skilled designers at Persian Book House commence the design process.
  1. Our design process entails the utilization of Layout Design for the creation of the cover. To ensure optimal quality, images are imported into Photoshop for refinement. Employing distinct font treatments, we meticulously craft the title and back matter to ensure a harmonious and visually captivating presentation that resonates with your audience.
  1. The process of Layout Design involves the importation of your manuscript into InDesign, initiating the formatting procedures encompassing typeface treatment and margin adjustments. The duration of the design phase typically spans between 1 to 2 weeks, contingent upon the intricacy of the project.
  1. Upon the culmination of the design process, a proof will be furnished for your perusal. At this stage, you retain the prerogative to either endorse the proof or propose alterations. Should the latter be preferred, reference the Service Rates to ascertain the cost implications associated with proof adjustments and the procurement of supplementary proofs. Typically, modifications are accommodated within a timeframe of five business days.
